PCCS is currently partnered with more than 40 organizations and agencies to help provide emergency food and clothing assistance to Pender County residents who qualify.
PCCS provides opportunities for employment, job-training, support and mentoring programs for those who are referred by other agencies.
PCCS sponsors TEFAP (Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program) in our community. This distribution of the Government Food Commodities is held bi-monthly on Fridays.
In addition to a food pantry, PCCS operates a thrift shop at this location ~ The Second Blessing Boutique, which helps raise funds so that we can help others. We are also blessed with donations from more than 20 of the local area churches, as well as donations from caring individuals and businesses in our community.
Donations of boxed and canned food, gently used clothing, household items, etc. are always welcome!
Meeting the needs of the community improves the quality of life for everyone, promoting “unity” within “community.” God bless you!
